He has a particular interest in Fintech and Cryptocurrency clients, where he has built up a substantial and loyal following due to his knowledge and passion for the subject area. His clients range from serial entrepreneurs to mid-level corporates. They all have a passion for their business, and Martin shares that same passion with them.

His work for these clients includes drafting shareholders’ agreements, directors’ service agreements, terms of business, supply agreements, franchise agreements, IP agreements and share schemes, advising on employment matters, mid-level merger and acquisition advice, data protection advice, advising on the registration of crypto asset businesses with the FCA, and advising on ultra-high value Cryptocurrency deals.

Recent notable deals have involved advising existing shareholders of a tech-based company on a high value equity investment and on a group reorganisation leading to a fit for purpose acquisition vehicle. Martin’s Employment advice largely consists of advising on board level employment agreements, tax advantageous employee share schemes, conflict resolution, restructuring and advice on the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions.

He also acts for individual GPs, GP practices, Primary Care Networks and Local Medical Committees.

His work for these clients includes drafting partnership agreements, advice on mergers, demergers, practice acquisitions and disposals, advice on and drafting service level agreements, data protection advice, establishing companies, including Community Interest Companies, and preparing bespoke articles of association.

Martin offers bespoke, personalised support to all his clients. Working as an extension of their team, he focuses on building trust and making himself available whenever needed.  He works hard to understand his client’s business and their aims in detail – enabling him to offer the best possible advice.

Martin is an avid follower of AFC Wimbledon and Surrey County Cricket Club, and can often be found cheering on the Irish Rugby Team. He is tech-savvy and recently spent time abroad with a client visiting a software developer to better understand the logic process involved in developing a Distributed Application. He is also the tech help desk for his extended family!
